PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES TAJIK DELEGATION
President Ilham Aliyev on 13 February received the Tajik delegation led by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Gulomjon Bobozoda, who has been appointed as co-chairman of the Azerbaijan-Tajikistan Inter-Governmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation.
Stating that in accordance with the duties resulting from the meetings of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, the Working Group on the Azerbaijan-Tajikistan Inter-Governmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation has launched its activity Mr. Gulomjon Bobozoda said the Group held a number of useful meetings in Baku. Mr. Bobozoda informed that the next meeting of the Commission is expected to take place in Dushanbe.
Head of the Azerbaijan State recalled his meetings with the President of Tajikistan, noting that the two Presidents had discussed the level of trade turnover between the two countries and establishment of long-term economic cooperation. President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that the Baku meetings of the Azerbaijan-Tajikistan Inter-Governmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation would serve expansion of economic cooperation.
