PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV SENDS 8TH MARCH GREETINGS TO WOMEN OF AZERBAIJAN
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a message of greetings to women of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the International Women’s Day - 8th March.
In particular, the message reads:
“Azerbaijani women have made exceptional contributions to safeguarding rich national and cultural values of our people. Their patriotism, nobility and wisdom have manifested themselves over our entire history. People’s desire to always live in peace and stability, finds its vivid defender in the person of our peace-loving mothers. In spite of the heavy social burden, the Azerbaijani women have always been a moral support to our society, and demonstrated real endurance and steadfastness while experiencing complicated socio-political changes.
Today’s strong social stance of the Azerbaijani women, who enjoys all the rights and freedoms, is praiseworthy. Actively involved in the economic, socio-political and cultural life of our Republic for many years, their contributions to the state-building process and development of the country, are of exceptional significance.
Active participation of the Azerbaijani women in science, education, healthcare and other fields is demonstration of their big potential and enhancing prestige.
The democratic environment established in our country creates favorable conditions for our women to further realize their talents and skills.
I am confident that our women will continue to do everything possible to bring up every Azerbaijani child in the spirit of deep respect and endless devotion to our national culture, moral values and traditions.“
