PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV VISITS “DASHKESAN FILIZSAFLASHDIRMA” JOINT-STOCK COMPANY
First, the President became familiar with the company’s Dashkesan and Ganja projects, designs of the plants to be constructed in the future.
Director general of “Det. Al limited” company Ali Ozkurt informed the President of the fact that new enterprises are scheduled to be created in the future in accordance with the investment program with 1000 new jobs scheduled to be opened. The company is planning to invest USD 235 million and apply the state-of-the-art technologies here. It is going to be the world’ second enterprise of this type after the United States. The produce will be exported to Kazakhstan and other countries. According to Ali Ozkurt, the aluminum plant with the production capacity of 160 thousand tons will come on stream in Ganja until 2009. The Dashkesan and Ganja projects as well as the aluminum plant in Ganja will employ a total of 5 thousand people.
President Ilham Aliyev pressed the button marking the start of the development of a new field of Dashkesan Filizsaflashdirma joint-stock company. Having pressed the second button, the Head of State started the ropeway transporting the iron ore.
The opening ceremony was addressed by Executive Power of Dashkesan province Tahir Kerimov, director general of Det Al Limited Ali Ozkurt, senior engineer of Dashkesan Filizsaflashdirma Muzaeddin Hasanov.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made his remarks at the ceremony.

Later the same day, President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyev attended the inauguration of the new apartment building for Karabakh war invalids and shahid families in Dashkesan city.
The Head of State was informed that the construction of the building was funded by the Cabinet of Ministers and Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
The President toured the building, highly appreciating the conveniences created here.

President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Gedabey province on November 1. The Head of State attended the opening of the Heydar Park and the monument to the national leader. Then, I. Aliyev delivered a speech to the public.
Later that day, the President visited the geological exhibition of the products of the Gedabey field of the International Mining Operating Company, Gedabey Sport Complex and met with Russian community of the mostly Russian-populated Slavyanka village. Here, the President got familiarized with the construction of the secondary school funded by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Later the same day, President Ilham Aliyev left Gedabey for Shamkir. Upon arrival to Shamkir, Azerbaijani Leader laid flowers to the monument to the national leader and attended the opening ceremony of the Heydar Aliyev Museum.
Then, the Head of State addressed the ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the Shamkir Olympic Complex, attended the opening ceremony of the Shamkir-Gazakh motor road. He came to the Zarifa Aliyeva Park to lay flowers at the famous ophthalmologist’s monument.
President Ilham Aliyev got acquainted with the Shamkir poultry factory and Fuzuli secondary school reconstructed with Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s funding.
