PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV VISITS HEYDAR ALIYEV PARK AND MUSEUM IN NAFTALAN
President Ilham Aliyev wrapped up his Ganja trip and arrived in the town of Naftalan on Monday.
The Head of State first familiarized himself with the Heydar Aliyev Park in Naftalan. President Aliyev, his spouse Mehriban Aliyev and daughter Leyla Aliyeva laid flowers at the monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev, which is located in the Heydar Aliyev Park.
President Aliyev walked through the park. Established in 1967, the park was rebuilt in 2006. The Head of State gave his recommendations to make the park more modern.
Later the same day, Azerbaijani Leader came to the Heydar Aliyev Museum located in the park. He viewed the photographs and items depicting national leader`s life and activity.
The Museum has over 200 photographs and items. Among them is the Heydar Aliyev`s decree of 1982 to develop Naftalan as the resort town.
