PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN ILHAM ALIYEV CONGRATULATES THE NATION ON HOLY RAMADAN
The blessed month of Ramadan is marked by the revelation of the holy Quran, the depository of divine revelations; this month grants worshippers joy of moral and spiritual perfection, moral purity, triumph of feelings of benevolence, and mercy and solidarity.
These days, our Muslim citizens who worthily did their moral duty on the path of the Allah Most High and religion, and honorably stand the test of fasting, share the festive joy with satisfaction. Wishes for peace and well-being of our people and state are expressed; prayers for the peace of our shahids’ souls are said. Joining all these good intentions and wishes, I also give tribute to our shahids these dear festive days, and ask Allah Most High to rest their souls in peace, and wish patience to their families.

The people of Azerbaijan, always committed to its historical traditions and national-spiritual values, welcome with the sense of great joy and solemnity the holy Ramadan, which demonstrates solidarity and unity of all Muslims. Today, I once again congratulate the world Azerbaijanis, citizens of the country, and wish their families prosperity and well-fare.
