PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN RECEIVED GERMAN FOREIGN MINISTER
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, 19 February.Welcoming Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the Head of the Azerbaijan State reminded his meeting with him in Germany several days ago. President Aliyev expressed consent with his visit to Germany, noting the visit will lead to a new level of bilateral relations. “Your visit to the region is important either and I am confident that it will be successful”, the President emphasized. “We have reached good relations in all fields”.
Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier expressed gratitude, noting he had prepared long for this visit. He assured President of Azerbaijan that the German side was deeply satisfied with both his visit and activity of Azerbaijan delegation. The German Minister expressed hope for further development of relations between the two countries.
