PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN RECEIVES PREMIER OF TAJIKISTAN
President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan on 15 March in Dushanbe, in his residence received Prime Minister of Tajikistan Akil Akilov. Premier of Tajikistan assessed the visit of Azerbaijan President as historical event, expressing pleasure with the latest economic accomplishments the Republic of Azerbaijan gained. There is big potential for cooperation, Mr. Akilov noted. At his words, the countries might cooperate in the field of power, mining industry and oil-gas sector. Tajikistan would benefit of the minerals development in Azerbaijan, he emphasized. According to him, joint realization of the projects on agriculture, infrastructure and road building would be useful for both sides.
President of Azerbaijan expressed importance of concrete fields for cooperation and creation of relevant working groups.

On 15 March, on behalf of the Tajik President Emomali Rahmonov, an official reception was arranged in honor of the President of Azerbaijan.
