PRESIDENTS OF AZERBAIJAN AND POLAND MEET IN PRESENCE OF DELEGATIONS
After Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Lech Kaczynski of Poland met behind closed doors, they continued their meeting in the presence of the two countries’ delegations.President Ilham Aliyev said his country places a special emphasis on its relationship with Poland, adding the Polish leader’s current visit will play a huge role in further boosting the bilateral ties.
Ilham Aliyev said that during his one-on-one meeting with Lech Kaczynski they discussed all aspects of their countries’ relationships, as well as the European Union-Azerbaijan relations and regional developments.
The Polish President, for his part, said he is pleased to be in Azerbaijan, and described Baku as a very beautiful city.
Mr. Kaczynski stressed his friendly relations with President Ilham Aliyev.
Poland’s President said he believes his visit will give the impetus to further enhancement of the bilateral relations between the two countries.
