PRESIDENTS VISIT “ROADS TO FREEDOM” MUSEUM
On 27 February, Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Lech Kaczynski of Poland visited the Roads to Freedom museum in Gdansk.
Here, the two leaders viewed documents, photos, clothing and other exhibits highlighting the course of events taken place in Gdansk from 1944 to 1989. They also watched a documentary about the solidarity movement, which triggered collapse of the communist regimes in Europe and former soviet republics.
President Ilham Aliyev signed the museum’s guestbook.
