PRESS CONFERENCE OF MUSIC BAND HELD IN BAKU
The press conference of the members of bands Mansound (Ukraine) and Camerata (Belarus) which attended at the First International “Autumn gold” festival in Baku was held in Absheron hotel on Friday.
The festival was organized by the Fund of Friends of Azerbaijan Culture, Azerbaijan ministries of Culture and Tourism and Youth and Sport.
Chief of press and social relations department of the festival Rovshan Sananoglu introduced the visitors, after which the floor was given to the members of Mansound band.
The Ukraine musicians thanked for the shown hospitality and said that they liked Baku very much.
It was mentioned that Mansound is a band, which can compete with a lot of famous bands of the world. The band was on a tour in Russia, Holland, Swiss and USA. They could be compared with famous jazz musicians of the world, including Ward Swingle, Lionel Hampton.
Later Sananoglu gave the floor to the members of Camerata.
The musicians said that they are for the second time in Baku and thanked for shown hospitality. They said that they began their activity in 1986 as a camera chorus of the Belarus State Philharmonic society. And later they enhanced their creative opportunities. Up to now they have 4 music albums.
Camerata was on a tour in USA, Germany, Poland, Swiss, Norway and other foreign countries.
Both bands have performed concert program in the Union of Theatre Workers on Friday.
“Autumn gold” International music festival will last till October 7.
