Quanzhou wows at 'A Date with China – Meet Fujian' launch

"A Date with China - Meet Fujian" 2023 international media tour embarked on its visit to East China's Fujian province on Friday and a launching ceremony was held at Quanzhou Guest House, according to chinadaily.com.cn.
Aniello Puorto, reporter and journalist of RAI-Italian Radio and Television Company, said the development and changes in China are so remarkable compared with 1997, when he came to China for the first time. He said he often tells his friends in Italy that he lives in a "future world".
"For thousands of years, the ancient Silk Road has connected the East and the West." He said his task is to be the Marco Polo of the new era, to build a bridge between Chinese and Italian cultures, which both have a long history and are the top two countries with the most world cultural heritage.
Italian content creator Yasmin von Roon has been showing the public her travels and life in China, where she has been to 17 provinces. She said she is impressed by the Chinese innovation, beauty, progress, architecture and security.
"I believe that if used correctly, social media is an incredible tool and can bring together people from different countries and cultures showing the beauties and differences of the world,” she said.
