Regular session of CIS Economic Council held in Moscow
Moscow, March 15 (AZERTAC). The 61st session of the CIS Economic Council has been held in Moscow.
Azerbaijan was represented at the session by the first deputy prime minister Yagub Eyubov.
The agenda included a wide range of questions of interaction of CIS countries in the economic area.
Participants approved draft agreements on information exchange among the CIS member states in the field of ensuring transport safety, and also the Protocol on amendments to the Agreement on rules of definition of the country of goods' origin in the Commonwealth of Independent States of November 20, 2009.
The members of the Economic Council were informed on the fulfilment of the Interstate Program of innovative cooperation of the CIS member states for the period till 2020 and the realization of the Complex of Actions for 2012-2014. They were also highlighted on the Long-Term Plan of cooperation of the member states within Intergovernmental Council for investigation, use and protection of the subsoil in 2011-2015.
The participants of the session heard reports on activity of Interstate Council on Antimonopoly Policy and the Interstate Council of “Radionavigation” in 2010-2013, and also the report on the condition of the market of auditor services and application of the international standards of audit in the CIS member states.
The session participants also discussed a number of budgetary, financial and organizational issues.
The next session of CIS Economic Council will be held on June 20 in Moscow.
