Representatives of ASYOU to attend 26th convention of European students in Lithuania
Baku, September 17 (AZERTAC). Representatives of the Azerbaijan Students` Youth Organization Union (ASYOU) will attend the 26th convention of European students in Kaunas, Lithuania.
The European Students’ Convention (ESC26) is a traditional meeting of the European Students’ Union, co-hosted by the EU Presidency countries’ National Union of Students since 2000. ESC26 will involve around 1000 representatives from 47 National Unions of Students in 39 countries in Europe. This kind of meeting is for student representatives and experts in higher education in Lithuania for the first time. ESC26 is dedicated to the promotion of internationalisation of higher education, which is one of Lithuania’s priorities towards its co-Chairing of the Bologna Follow-up Group.
ESC26 is organised by the Lithuanian National Union of Students - the only interest representation umbrella for students in higher education in Lithuania and will take place at Kaunas University of Technology and Vytautas Magnus University.
