ROMANIAN PETROM AND ROMGAS COMPANIES KEEN ON INVESTING IN AZERBAIJAN
Viorel Palaska, State Secretary of Romania`s Ministry of Economy and Finance, and Natig Aliyev, Azerbaijani Minister of Industry and Energy signed Thursday in Bucharest the document on strategic energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Romania, AZERTAG reports citing Rompress.
Palasca said Romanian Petrom and Romgas energy giants are willing to enter Azerbaijan`s energy market. According to him, Romgas has a good experience in gas development.
Palasca said Romgas is interested in building underground gas storage facilities. Romanian company will take part in the gas storage tender. Official Bucharest is going to encourage Azerbaijan to participate in the Nabucco gas and Constanta-Trieste oil projects.
Azerbaijan`s Minister Aliyev said the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan is keen on refining crude in Romanian plants.
