Application of the Russian ruble as a single currency in the area of the Russian-Belarus Union State does not require any guarantees, as it does not affect sovereignty. It was stated by the Russian President Vladimir Putin at a joint press conference with his colleague Alexander Lukashenko.Supporting his own words, V. Putin cited an example of the European Union by saying, “A single currency is used within euro zone and sovereignty of France, Germany and other states does not impair. On the contrary, their sovereignty became more solid because their economies benefited from single currency.” Russian President referred to the nearest future and cited as an example Benilux countries (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg). He noted that Luxembourg used Belgian currency without damaging its sovereignty. Luxembourg is an economically stable, small but very esteemed country throughout Europe and world.President of the Russian Federation said, “We are confident that in case of ruble’s introduction in Belarus the same results will be obtained. Speaking before the beginning of the play, director and art leader of the theatre, people’s artist Aliabbas Gadirov congratulated the staff and audience with the beginning of the new season.
Then a play, produced by people’s artist Marakhim Farzalibekov, was shown at the stage. Main parts in the play were played by people’s artists Aliabbas Gadirov, Rafig Azimov, Safura Ibrahimova, Elkhan Agaguseynoglu, honored artists Burjali Askerov, Sabir Mammadov and others.
Deputy Premier Elchin Efendiyev, Culture Minister Polad Bul-Bul oglu were present at the play.
