SANGACHAL TERMINAL IS READY TO RECEIVE FIRST GAS FROM OFFSHORE FIELD
The onshore processing facilities, including the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP) compressor station at the Sangachal terminal were pre-commissioned during August and September using SOCAR’s gas from ACG production. These facilities are now ready to receive first gas from the offshore field.
The first gas is expected to be delivered in the next few weeks due to some of the well tie backs and pre-drilled well completions taking slightly longer, the production of which to reach 300 mln cubic meters during the fourth quarter of 2006.
