SOCAR bond holders’ income exceeds $13 million

The final coupon payment of 2024 on SOCAR bonds, which have a nominal value of $1,000, a 5-year maturity, and an annual yield of 4.5% paid quarterly, amounting to $1.125 million, was credited to bondholders’ accounts on November 1, 2024.
According to SOCAR Capital Company, the next coupon payment is scheduled for February 1, 2025.
SOCAR bonds, recognized as the most actively traded corporate securities in the local stock market, have generated an additional $1.125 million for bondholders with this 12th coupon payment, bringing the total income for bondholders to $13.5 million (projected to reach $22.5 million by the end of the term). Currently, the volume of operations with SOCAR bonds in the secondary market has reached $50 million, with a total of 900 completed transactions. Since 2016, SOCAR bonds have brought about $40 million in total income to investors.
