SOCAR INCREASE GAS PRODUCTION

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has produced 7,286,066,000 cm of gas over the past nine months of 2007, up by 45.9% from a year ago.

Under the country’s new oil strategy, production of the associated gas is on rise as well. The consortium has given over 1,955,000,000 cm of associated gas free of charge to the SOCAR over the past nine months.
