Some 7.8 mln tons of cargo transported via sea in Azerbaijan
Baku, September 26 (AZERTAC). Some 7.8 mln tons of cargo was transported via sea in Azerbaijan in January-August of 2013.
According to the State Statistical Committee, 57.1% of this amount was oil, while 42.9% was dry cargo and all transportations were realized on foreign links.
Some 8 mln tons of shipping and unshipping works were conducted during the period under review.
