SOME IN ARMENIA NOT READY FOR PEACE

“The negotiations for peaceful settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict will be continued”, FM of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov stated. The meeting of OSCE co-chairs and foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia has recently passed in Brussels. The negotiations have been carried out on the Prague principles. Azerbaijan stated its fair position. Despite of this, it appears some in Armenia are not ready for peace. It seems they cannot see what miseries and troubles they cause to the peoples of both countries.

The PACE Subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh has also prepared a Resolution on the conflict which reflects the basic principles of settlement of the problem. The occupied territories of Azerbaijan should be liberated and the refugees should return to their homelands. “Only in this case, we can achieve safety and stability in region”, the document emphasizes.
