Speaker of Nakhchivan Supreme Majlis meets Pakistani ambassador
Nakhchivan, August 16 (AZERTAC). Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talybov has met with ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan Khalid Usman Qaiser.
Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan said previous Pakistani ambassadors had also visited Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, adding Pakistan and Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic maintained relations in various fields.
Talybov praised Azerbaijan-Pakistan cooperation within international organizations and Pakistan`s friendly foreign policy towards Azerbaijan.
Qaiser recalled his joining the festivities on the 90th anniversary of the autonomous republic, and hailed the development and stability there.
The ambassador underscored national leader Heydar Aliyev`s contribution to development of Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations and assured he would spare no efforts to expand existing relations and mutually beneficial cooperation.
He underlined that bilateral relations are developing in a variety of fields.
