State of Maryland hosts presentation on TECH Investment Opportunities in Azerbaijan

Washington, October 26 (AZERTAC). The United States-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC) held a presentation focusing on TECH Investment Opportunities in Azerbaijan with the sponsorship of Montgomery County Department of Economic Development and Elizarov Consulting Group (ECG). After a brief introduction to the region by Mr. Jerry Godwin, Business Incubator Manager at Montgomery County Department of Economic Development and ECG CEO Mr. Yakov Elizarov, USACC Executive Director, Ms. Susan Sadigova introduced Azerbaijan’s fast-growing TECH market to representatives of U.S. Commercial Service, Business Incubator and other technology based company representatives. Ms. Sadigova discussed the ICT perspectives widely available in space technologies, business intelligence, cyber security and other tech-related industries assessing the investment benefits as well as attraction of Azerbaijani investment. She also informed the audience about large Azerbaijani projects, such as renowned High Tech Park Project, TASIM, Azerspace-1 and others.

The presentation was followed by an interactive Q&A session.
