TABLE SALT PRODUCING FACTORY UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Construction of the table salt producing factory, part of the project being realized in the Azerbaijan’s food industry by Azersun Holding ltd., has kicked off, according to the Azerbaijan Investment Company.

Engineering and design work had been carried out by German specialists.

Raw materials will be supplied from Masazyr Lake and deposits in Turkmenistan.

With the 100 tons per day production capacity the factory will yearly produce 30,000 tons of iodinated table salt.

Total cost of the project is $11.5 million.
