A working meeting of the tender Commission for “Electric Power Transmission System’s Rehabilitation Program -2” attended by specialists of Azerenergy, Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Fuel and Energy etc. was held the other day consider a package of tender conditions prepared by BEA Consulting, Germany, AzerTAj reporter learned from Azerenergy press-service.

The Azerenergy specialists have revealed several unconformities to customer’s requirements, and recommended to change certain technical and financial points. The alterations will be discussed with the companies’ representatives for preparation of the final version of the document.

After that, a tender will be announced to select general contractor on the project credited by the German KFW bank, which allotted 16 mln euro for its realization. The program implies implementation of the two projects: reconstruction of a number of high-voltage substations and Power Transmission Lines, and the first phase of modernization of the Azerenegy’s Central Power Dispatching System.
