Baku, July 21 (AZERTAC). The qualifying matches of the Baku Cup 2014 have finished.

The last two players successfully finishing this round were Danka Kovinic of Montenegro and Misa Eguchi of Japan.

Danka Kovinic won Aleksandra Panova from Russia. In the first set she defeated her rival 6-2 while in the second lost 4-6.

The last set was very tense and identified the winner. It lasted one and a half hour and continued till the tier-break. Finally, Danka Kovinic, who made less mistakes, finished the set with the score 7-5 winning the match 2-1.

In another match that was taking place simultaneously with this one Japanese Misa Eguchi defeated French Amandine Hesse. Eguchi who demonstrated a smooth play won her rival 6-2 and 6-3 finishing the match 2-0.

Thus, Ukrainians Katerina Bondarenko and Olga Savchuk, Serbian Vesna Dolontc and Uzbek Nigina Abduraimova have been followed by Danka Kovinic and Misa Eguchi to play in the main draw.
