TO ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY OF AZERBAIJAN
Dear fellow countrymen!
I cordially wish the Christian community of Azerbaijan a Happy Christmas and all the best.
All the citizens of the independent Republic of Azerbaijan, which is internationally known as an example of tolerance, enjoy the basic rights and freedoms, including the freedom of conscience, irrespective of the language, religion and ethnic belonging.
Different peoples living in our country are provided with democratic conditions for them to preserve their national and spiritual values, religion, customs and traditions, language and culture.
As important part of our society, the Christian community also takes advantage of these opportunities.
With a sense of satisfaction, I would like to mention that they are active citizens directly involved in socio-political and cultural-spiritual life of Azerbaijan for the progress of our republic.
The blessed Christmas holiday marking the birthday of Jesus Christ, symbolizes the triumph for renewal, peace and mercy. May this bright holiday bring your families happiness, your homes plenty and you wellbeing.
