Under the TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission (IGC TRACECA), implementation of the project “Analysis of traffic flows for TRACECA countries and interregional transport dialogue between EU and NIS” has started, the Permanent Representative (National Secretary) of the PS IGC TRACECA in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Akif Mustafayev said.

According to Mr. Mustafayev, the TRACECA’s renewed database will be established under the two-year prolonged project. At the same time, NIS member countries Russia and Belarus will conduct talks on joining the TRACECA.

The executor of the project, financed by the European Commission is French “Louis Berge” Company.

Headquartered in Baku, the TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission was founded in 1998. European and Asian twelve countries are members of the Organization.
