TRILATERAL METING OF PRESIDENTS OF AZERBAIJAN, BELARUS AND UKRAINE
The President pointed out the great potentialities of the three states in realization of energy and transport projects, delivery and refining of energy resources, and construction of appropriate infrastructure.
Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko stressed the need for the three countries’ closer cooperation to ensure energy security in the region.
President Ilham Aliyev called for intensifying efforts towards using existing potential of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus, which, he said, is great in all fields, including the energy one.
The head of Ukraine Viktor Yuschenko described strengthening of the three countries’ ties in energy sector as strategic direction of the cooperation, adding the use of the Odessa-Brody pipeline to deliver Azerbaijani oil to the petroleum refineries in Belarus could be a very promising project.
