Turkish Ekovitrin magazine issues article on Azerbaijani President

Baku, November 18 (AZERTAC). Turkish Ekovitrin magazine has issued an article titled “Ilham Aliyev`s resounding victory” on the re-election of Ilham Aliyev as the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The article stresses that Ilham Aliyev won 84.55 % of the total votes and became the President of Azerbaijan for the third term.

The author says that Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyib Erdogan were first to congratulate Ilham Aliyev on his victor. “It is a signal of strong friendship and brotherhood relations between the two countries.”

The article also says that the Azerbaijani President met Turkish observers who attended the presidential election on October 9, 2013. In the meeting, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev reiterated the importance of strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
