TWO ARRESTED FOR FORCING WOMEN INTO SEX SLAVERY
Two people were arrested on suspicion of luring women from Azerbaijan provinces to Turkey and forcing them into slavery and prostitution, press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
The female suspects were identified as residents of Ali Bayramli province Tunzala and Sarvinaz Rasulovas.
The arrested promised restaurant jobs to their victims, but when they arrived from Azerbaijan at their own expense they were held captive and forced to work as prostitutes, the Ministry said.
The suspects are questioned by officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Department for Combating Human Trafficking.
