Two Azerbaijani judo fighters reach final at Nanjing Olympic Games

Nanjing, August 17 (AZERTAC). Two Azerbaijani judo fighters have today qualified for the final of the 2nd Summer Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China.

Natig Gurbanli at 55kg progressed to the final after beating Belgian Jorre Verstraeten.

Another Azerbaijani fighter Leyla Aliyeva also reached the final of the tournament in the women's 44kg.

On the way to the final, she defeated Kazakh Saiyn Adiya and Russian Anastasia Turcheva.
