UAE delegation visits Gabala region
Baku, September 20 (AZERTAC). An UAE delegation led by Director General of Dubai Courts Ahmed Saeed Bin Hazim has visited Gabala, the most ancient city of Azerbaijan.
The delegation was informed about the history of Gabala District, as well as implemented projects within the framework of socio-economic development of the region.
The delegation visited Tufan Alpine Skiing Summer and Winter Recreation Complex.
They were informed of Gafgaz Resort complex which includes three hotels, a SPA center and a leisure and recreation park.
The UAE delegation also toured Gabala shooting club in Bum residential area here. The construction of the facility started in June, 2012. The shooting club occupies a total area of 25 hectares.
They visited the Gilan Piano Factory, where they watched the production process.
The piano factory produces world-class pianos under the brand name Beltman. The factory is one of the new industrial structures contributing to development of non-oil sector of the country's economy.
The production of Beltmann pianos was launched in September 2009. Beltmann pianos are made only in the Gilan factory in Gabala.
The delegation visited Gilan canning factory, with total area of 12 hectares, which was inaugurated in 2007 with participation of the Azerbaijani President. The factory manufactures nearly 100 types of products, which are exported to more than 30 countries.
