U.S. Charge d'Affaires visits Gabala
Gabala, August 28 (AZERTAC). Charge d'Affaires at the U.S. Embassy to Azerbaijan Dereck Hogan has visited the country`s Gabala district. He met head of the district`s Executive Authorities Sabuhi Abdullayev, who praised relations between Azerbaijan and the United States.
He highlighted economic situation and socio-cultural life in the district. Mr. Abdullayev said Gabala had become the center of high-profile international events, adding “this plays an immense role in speeding up the development of the district”.
He said tourism was the key priority area in Gabala, and provided an insight into the district`s tourism infrastructure.
Mr. Hogan hailed the development of tourism in Gabala.
