“VIVA” TRIED TO DISPATCH AZERBAIJANI GASOLINE TO ARMENIA

Financial Police of the Finance Ministry of Georgia has seized the warehouse and documents of the oil-refining enterprise “VIVA” located near Tbilisi. The police doubted if the gasoline exported to Armenia belonged to VIVA and not delivered from Azerbaijan.

VIVA tried to dispatch 450 tons of gasoline to Armenia a couple of weeks ago. However, the gasoline was suddenly brought back to the warehouse. According to the documents, the VIVA’s gasoline was meant to be sold to Armenian company “Exim petrol group”.

Financial police presumes that gasoline had to be smuggled from Azerbaijan via Georgia to Armenia.
