World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day celebrated at University of Manchester

An event marking the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day - December 31 was organized at the University of Manchester, the UK's largest university.
The event took place with the support of Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Work with Diaspora and at the initiative of the Azerbaijani Student Society operating at the University of Manchester.
Mirsaleh Mammadov, head of the Azerbaijani Student Society highlighted the historical significance of World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day, its special role in protecting the national identity and strengthening the unity of Azerbaijani citizens living abroad.
The foreign students participating in the event were informed about the history, culture and national customs and traditions of Azerbaijan.
