World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day marked in Kuwait

Baku, December 30 (AZERTAC). An event marking the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day has been held in Kuwait.

The event, organized by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Kuwait, brought together Azerbaijanis living in Kuwait, Kuwaiti citizens and employees of the Embassy.

Attending the event, Counsellor of the Azerbaijani Embassy to Kuwait Tamerlan Khalilov read out President Ilham Aliyev`s address to the World Azerbaijanis.

Khalilov stressed that marking December 31 as the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day had been established by national leader Heydar Aliyev`s decree.

The event featured a film on Azerbaijan`s history, culture and tourism opportunities.
