World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day marked in Stockholm
Baku, December 29 (AZERTAC). An event marking the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day organized by the Azerbaijani Embassy and Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations in the Kingdom of Sweden has been held in Stockholm.
According to the Embassy, opening the event Azerbaijani ambassador to Sweden Adish Mammadov spoke about national policy and the Azerbaijanism ideology founded by national leader Heydar Aliyev. He also stressed that marking December 31 as the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day had been established by Heydar Aliyev`s decree. Touching upon President Ilham Aliyev`s successful policy, the ambassador hailed the importance of the solidarity day.
Chairman of the Azerbaijani National Association in Sweden Sattar Sevgin informed about the activity of the Diaspora organizations in promotion the Azerbaijani realities to the world. The event was continued by a concert program.
