World travelers visit Fuzuli
Fuzuli, March 27, AZERTAC
The city of Fuzuli served as the final destination for the international delegation of world travelers visiting Garabagh and East Zangezur, led by Harry Mitsidis, the British founder and head of the "NomadMania" club.
Upon arriving in Fuzuli, the travelers viewed the areas destroyed during the occupation. They also witnessed the extensive construction and restoration work currently being carried out by the Azerbaijani state in the liberated city. With this visit, the international travelers' tour of the liberated territories has concluded.
The delegation for this two-day visit included 79 individuals from 37 countries, marking the largest group of world travelers to visit Karabakh and East Zangezur to date.
"NomadMania" establishes its global rankings by dividing the Earth into 1,301 distinct regions. Harry Mitsidis currently holds the top rank worldwide, having visited all 1,301 regions. Notably, "NomadMania" also held its first-ever annual meeting in Azerbaijan.
This visit is of exceptional importance for promoting the liberated territories within the framework of "dark tourism" and providing an opportunity to observe the large-scale reconstruction and restoration efforts firsthand.
Between 2020 and 2025, major international traveler clubs organized 15 visits to Karabakh and East Zangezur; this trip marks the 16th such visit.
