22 BEU graduates admitted to world's prestigious higher education institutions

22 graduates of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have earned the right to study within the framework of the "State Program for Youth Education at Prestigious Higher Education Institutions of Foreign Countries for 2022-2028," approved by Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the results of the State Program for the 2026/2027 academic year, of the 353 individuals who earned the right to study at the master's level at prestigious higher education institutions of foreign countries, 20 are BEU graduates, and of the 22 individuals who earned the right to study at the doctoral level, 2 are BEU graduates.
Of the BEU graduates participating in the State Program, 14 will study at prestigious higher education institutions in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, 6 in the United States of America, 1 in the Italian Republic, and 1 in the Republic of Finland.
According to the 2027 QS World University Rankings, 2 of the higher education institutions to which BEU graduates have been admitted rank among the world's top ten, 3 among the top twenty, and 17 among the top hundred.
The graduates will continue their studies at the University of Cambridge, University College London (UCL), Columbia University, University of Edinburgh, University of Manchester, King's College London, University of Warwick, London School of Economics and Political Science, University of Glasgow, Johns Hopkins University, Duke University, University of Birmingham, New York University, University of Washington, University of Sheffield, and other prestigious higher education institutions. They will study in the fields of computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, energy systems engineering, civil engineering, finance, business administration, mathematics, economics, and other priority specialty areas.
The main goal of the State Program, approved by Order of the President of Azerbaijan, is to create favorable opportunities for young people to study at the world's prestigious higher education institutions, and to shape human capital that is highly qualified, possesses innovative thinking, meets the demands of the international labor market, and will contribute to the country's sustainable socio-economic development.
The latest success achieved by BEU graduates in the State Program is one of the important results of the university's quality-oriented educational policy, its international cooperation ties, and the purposeful activity carried out in training highly qualified personnel.
