2ND ROUND OF INT`L WOMEN CHESS TOURNAMENT STARTS IN BAKU
2nd round of the International Women Chess tournament started at the “UNS” theatre in Baku on Wednesday.
This round saw the contests of Nargiz Umudova vs Firuza Velikhanly, Pia Cramling vs Monica Sochko, Ilaha Gadimova vs Katerina Lakhno, Sophie Milliet vs Antoaneta Stefanova and Lela Javakhishvili vs Victorija Cmilyte.
According to the results of first round Victorija Cmilyte, Antoaneta Stefanova, Lela Javakhishvili picked a point and ranked the list of leaders while Pia Cramling and Katerina Lakhno followed them with their half points.
Other chess players including Sophie Milliet, Firuza Velikhanly, Nargiz Umudova, Ilaha Gadimova were placed on bottom of the list according the lost of first contests.
