"AzerGold" holds mobile medical examination campaign in Goygol

A three-day mobile medical examination campaign was held in the Goygol district, organized by “AzerGold” CJSC in partnership with the “Regional Development” Public Union (RDPU) and with the support of the Baku Health Center.
The campaign, organized as part of the 10th anniversary of “AzerGold” CJSC and the Regional Development Public Union, served residents of the villages of Tulallar, Zurnabad, Topalhasanli and Ganja, as well as other settlements across the Goygol district. The first day of the campaign was dedicated to members of martyrs' families, veterans and war participants.
A professional medical team provided healthcare services to a total of 436 residents. Participants received examinations by an ophthalmologist, therapist, otorhinolaryngologist (ENT specialist), endocrinologist, cardiologist, neurologist, pediatrician and general surgeon. In addition, they were offered a range of diagnostic services free of charge, including ultrasound (US), echocardiography (ECHO), electrocardiography (ECG), complete blood and urine tests, viral hepatitis screening, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and blood glucose testing.
For the first time, residents of the region also benefited from services provided by a mobile ophthalmology clinic equipped with modern diagnostic equipment. The clinic offered comprehensive eye examinations, vision diagnostics, intraocular pressure measurements, optical power assessments and other specialized ophthalmic services.
In total, 2,527 medical services were delivered during the campaign. Individuals diagnosed with various health conditions received appropriate treatment recommendations, while those requiring further examination or specialized medical care were referred to relevant healthcare institutions.
Since 2021, “AzerGold” CJSC has been regularly organizing mobile medical examination campaigns aimed at improving access to quality healthcare for residents of remote communities, promoting the early detection of diseases and encouraging a culture of preventive healthcare. To date, these initiatives have delivered a total of 11 890 medical services to 2 936 residents.
