ABB Bank opens a branch in Shusha
ABB Bank, which actively contributes to the socio-economic development of Garabagh and East Zangezur, has taken another important step in this direction. The Bank has opened a new branch in Shusha, a city that symbolises Azerbaijan’s historic Victory.
ABB Bank’s Shusha branch serves customers at Entrance No. 13, Govhar Agha Street, Shusha. The branch has been established in line with the Bank’s new development concept and is equipped with modern banking technologies.
The branch provides all the necessary conditions to meet the universal financial-service needs of businesses operating in Garabagh and individual customers. As at ABB Bank’s other service offices, customers at the Shusha branch can access a wide range of services, including various types of loans, cash and settlement operations, deposits, money transfers, payment-card orders, cash foreign-exchange transactions and other banking services.
ABB Bank’s Shusha branch will play an important role in the revival of Garabagh, where large-scale reconstruction and development works are under way following the liberation of the territories. It will also support the implementation of major economic projects in the region and contribute to the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
By opening a new branch in Shusha, ABB Bank has also contributed to increasing employment in the region. The employees of the new branch were selected from among former internally displaced persons who returned to settle permanently in Shusha and the surrounding areas under the Great Return programme.
ABB Bank has also operated a branch in Khankendi since 2024. Following the restoration of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity, ABB Bank became the first bank to open a branch in Khankendi. This year, the Bank also established an Information Centre in the city.
