ANAMA: 104 mines and 1,445 unexploded ordnances neutralized last week

From June 17 to 22, Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) conducted mine-clearance operations in the districts of Tartar, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khankendi, Khojavend, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil, and Zangilan.
According to ANAMA, a total of 70 anti-personnel mines, 34 anti-tank mines, and 1,445 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) were discovered and neutralized during the operations.
The agency also reported that a total area of 1,420.9 hectares was cleared of mines and UXOs over the reporting period.
