ANAMA DESTROYS 4894 UXOS AND MINES IN APRIL

The Azerbaijan National Mine Action (ANAMA) has cleared 2,122,743 sq. meters area of land from 4,894 Unexploded Ordnances (UXO).

Demining operations involved 339 deminers, 5 mechanical demining machines, 30 mine mine detection dogs.

To date, ANAMA has cleared 67, 648, 889 sq.m. of land, destroying 306,889 mines and UXOs.

Agency has carried demining operations in Tartar, Agdam, Fizuli, Goranboy, Khojavend, and Akstafa.
