ANAMA DIRECTOR PARTICIPATES IN INTERNATIONAL EVENTS
ANAMA (Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action) Director Nazim Ismayilov has attended the Mine Cancellation Workshop in Slovenia which was organized by Survey Action Center, US. It is a part of Big Bang Research initiative implemented by the Advisory Panel consisting of different mine action actors including representatives of Marshall Legacy Institute, US DoS PM/WRA, UNDP and number of mine action NGOs.
ANAMA Director Mr. Nazim Ismaylov participated in the Eleventh International Meeting of Mine Action Programme Directors and UN advisors which was organized by the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) and the UN Mine Action Team, with the support of the International Trust Fund for Demining and Mine Victims Assistance (ITF) and the Croatian Mine Action Centre - Centre for Testing Development and Training (CROMAC - CTRO).
Participants of the gathering included senior officials from mine action programmes, colleagues from United Nations departments and agencies, international non-governmental organizations, experts from donor governments and other mine action implementing partners.
