Anti-death penalty group: more than 3500 people executed in 2014

Italian anti-death penalty group Nessuno Tocchi Caino, in its annual report, said the number of executions carried out worldwide rose to 3576 in 2014, compared to 3511 in 2013.

Last year, 22 countries were recorded to have carried out death penalties, Nessuno Tocchi Caino reports revealed.

The group called up the international community for the worldwide abolition of death penalty.
