ATASPORT CLUB WINS HEYDAR ALIYEV FIELD HOCKEY TOURNAMENT
Atasport Club has won Men’s Field Hockey tournament dedicated to the memory of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev. The event was organized by Azerbaijan Field Hockey Federation and Baku City Head Department for Youth and Sports.
Azerbaijani teams “Accord”, “Atasport”, “Kolos-Seykovo (UKR), “Azov-Tana”(RUS), “U-12” (BLR) and Oman team competed in the tournament.
“Accord” defeated “Azov-Tana” (RUS) 9:1, “U-12” (BLR) beat Oman team 5:1 on the last day of the tournament.
Atasport ranked 1st, securing 2:1 win over Kolos-Seykovo, which had to satisfied with the 2nd, while Baku “Accord” finished 3rd.
