AZERBAIJAN AMBASSADOR TO POLAND PRESENTED HIS CREDENTIALS
President Alexander Kwasniewski, reminding his official visit to Baku in 1999 and business visit of the president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev Warsaw on in April current year, stated that he is satisfied with development of the relations between the two countries. President Alexander Kwasniewski highly assessed functioning of the Azerbaijan embassy in Poland, noted that attaches great hopes that this would make worthy contributions to development of the bilateral relations in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.
Head of the Polish state underlined that his country stands ready to render serious support peace settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorny Karabakh conflict and process of integration of Azerbaijan to the European structures.
Ambassador Vilayat Guliyev, noting, the relations between Azerbaijan and Poland have ancient history, stressed that in the new phase are open wider opportunities for development of these relations and said that as an ambassador of Azerbaijan to Poland he would make every effort to strengthen these links.
The same day, Mr. Vilayat Guliyev, on behalf of the Embassy laid a wreath on the monument of the Unknown Soldier in the center of Warsaw.
Ambassador of Azerbaijan Republic held a number of meetings in the foreign ministry of Poland.
