AZERBAIJAN DIASPORA IN ARKHANGELS OBLAST OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION CONSOLIDATED
As was informed correspondent of AzerTAj by the head of department of organizational and regional work of Congress Ilgar Ibrahimov, at the meeting which was carried out by the head of Arkhangelsk regional branch of ARAC Jamil Aliyev, questions of organizing and consolidation of the Azerbaijanis living in the Arkhangelsk oblast were discussed. The information on activity of Arkhangelsk branch of ARAC has been heard, plans of the organization for immediate prospects were considered. It was marked, that all representatives of the Azerbaijan Diaspora in Arkhangelsk who are here about 20 thousands person, should be involved more actively in process of work of Diaspora, unite efforts on work with the state structures of oblast. In I. Ibrahimova's words, speakers also stressed necessity of supply of region with the literature, printed editions in the Azerbaijan language and the help of the organization in carrying out of cultural actions with participation of figures of arts of Azerbaijan.
I. Ibrahimov also has noted, that the meeting with chairman of legislative assembly of the Arkhangelsk oblast V. Fortygin who has expressed satisfaction with the activity of the Azerbaijan Diaspora in Arkhangelsk and told, that to the Azerbaijan Diaspora and there will be henceforth a necessary help. In turn, representatives of the Congress have thanked the management of administration and chairman of legislative assembly of oblast for attention and care for the Azerbaijan Diaspora in Arkhangelsk.
