AZERBAIJAN ESTABLISHES ECONOMIC TIES WITH 109 COUNTRIES
Juridical and natural persons of Azerbaijan have established economic ties with 109 countries for 5 months, State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan Republic. For this period, the total volume of foreign trade turnover made up $1922,5 million, the volume of export goods totaled $964,3 million while the volume of import came to 958,2 million. The volume of foreign trade turnover increased by 34,7 percent increased in comparison with the same period last year.
35,2 percent of export-import operations were carried out with EU countries, 32,6 percent - with CIS countries, 32,2 percent - with other states. The foreign trade operation were mostly carried out with Italy, Russia, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, United Kingdom, China, Israel, Iran, Germany, Ukraine, Malaysia, USA and France.
